WeatherFest 2011: NWS WFO Jacksonville, FL

The National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Jacksonville, FL is planning Weatherfest 2011 to be held in Jacksonville this upcoming February. We will be looking for volunteers to travel there and help educate the public about meteorology, the North Florida Chapter of the AMS, and weather safety. Currently though, we are accepting ideas and volunteers to help us organize for the event. Transportation in currently in the works so you may not have to drive yourself. As this event is in the future, more details will be emerging as time goes on, but reserve the date now so we can have a strong showing of volunteers representing North Florida's AMS!
