Max Tsaparis lived in Chicago all of his life until he decided to attend FSU for his undergraduate degree in meteorology. Even though he has not experienced any hurricanes, Max has many years of experience dealing with the Chicago heat wave of ‘95 blizzard of ’99, the gustnado of ’07, and multiple tornado outbreaks. Like many meteorologists-to-be, he has had a passion for the subject as long as he can remember, dating back to a simple unit on clouds in third grade. Max is also picking up minors in Math, Physics, Communications, and earning a Leadership Studies Certificate. Besides being on the board for the AMS he is also a Service Scholar at the Center for Leadership and Civic Education.
