Rochelle Worsnop was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. Living only twenty minutes away from the coast, she got to experience the daily, summer sea breeze storms and intense hurricanes such as Ivan in 2004. The fascination with the power of these storms and how relevant the weather is in our lives is what made her interested in meteorology. Rochelle is a senior finishing up her Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology with a minor in Geography. She not only loves the phenomena of the atmosphere, but also exploring the outdoors through hiking, canoeing, and playing team sports. She is also dedicated to serving the school, community, and planet through actively volunteering in environmental and social justice programs such as Garnet and Gold Goes Green, Take Back the Tap, and Without Words.
