2010-2011 AMS T-Shirt Contest
(Also known as your chance at a FREE shirt!)

To ensure that we get the shirts made by a reasonable date, we have set the deadline for entries to Monday, October 4th at Midnight. Here are some of the guidelines:

- Submissions should be on 8.5x11in paper, or the same size electronically.
- Please use only one color.
- Keep it clean, but have fun and be creative! We are looking to do one professional shirt, and maybe one fun shirt, so keep that in mind!
- Include contact information with submission!

Submissions can be dropped off in our mailbox in LOV 404, emailed directly to Vice President Nick Heath, or emailed to NorthFlams@gmail.com. We are looking forward to getting your submissions, and remember... the winner(s) get a FREE shirt with their winning design!

The 2010-2011 year marks the chapter's 9th year of existence. In our first eight years, our programs have been recognized by the national AMS in receiving mention on the Local
Chapter Honor Roll in 2003-2004,
2006-2007, and 2009-2010; and their ultimate honor, Local Chapter of the Year in 2004-2005, 2007-2008 and most recently in 2008-2009.
We work closely with local area schools, community outreach organizations, the Florida State University Department of Meteorology, the
Tallahassee Weather Forecast Office of the National Weather Service,
educational/outreach organizations, and local television stations to promote meteorology within the community.
